Purchaser:

Purchaser is responsible for buying raw materials, equipment and tools for residential and

commercial installation projects of natural stone floor and wall coverings. Analyzing past buying

trends, sales records, price, and quality of tile and natural stones, and installation tools to

determine value. Select, order, and authorize payment for merchandise according to contractual

agreements. Conducting meetings with sales personnel and introducing new products and

services. Negotiate contracts.

The successful candidates will:

•  Buy tile, and natural stones such as granite, travertine, marbles, and related equipment
• and tools for residential and commercial installation projects.
•  Negotiate prices, discount terms, or transportation arrangements with domestic or
• international tile and natural stone suppliers.
•  Examine, select, order, and purchase tile and natural stones and installation tools and
• equipment consistent with quality, quantity, and specification requirements of the
• customers’ installation projects
•  Monitor and analyze the company’s sales records, trends, or economic conditions to
• anticipate consumer buying patterns, company sales, and needed inventory.
•  Collaborate with domestic and international vendors to obtain and develop desired
• products. Inspect merchandise or products to determine quality, value, and yield.
• Conduct sales meetings to introduce materials, equipment, or tools.
• Consult with store or analysts and managers about budgets and goods to be purchased.
• Train or supervise sales staff.
•  Monitor competitors' sales activities by following their advertisements in newspapers or
• other media.



MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE:

The qualified applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar

field, and possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in Tile and Natural Stone products as a

Purchaser, Sales representative, or Marketer, with minimum of 1 year of experience in utilizing

financial analysis, budgeting, and planning, providing customer service, and working with

international trade compliance requirements. Strong presentation skills and expertise with MS

Excel, and MS PowerPoint are required. The position is permanent, 40 hour per week, and
